welcome!

nice to meet u! i'm tictacluvr and this is where i keep drawings, essays, thoughts and whatever else i like. i made this account ages ago when i decided i needed somewhere to compile all my essays and creative projects but never got round to learning how to code. that was until my friend (hi) showed me her site which was so cool it inspired me to finally dedicate some time to this project which i had been procrastinating for so long. i had only done a bit of html and css in year 8 which was yonks ago and i vaguely remember doing some python and javascript, but i basically didn't remember anything, which is why this may look a bit buns now but trust me i'm working on it.

i made this account because i realised i needed a hobby that didn't involve media consumption. i know this is digital so it's not really helping with my poor eyesight or my screentime, but at least i'm making something rather than taking in something that's already been made. i used to be really artsy when i was little but as i grew up my creative side sort of fizzled out as i had more schoolwork and had more access to screens and social media. it really is that damn phone. and because this website acts as a sort of jewellery box for other projects, it motivates me to get back into writing and painting and all that other stuff that i used to do. and it's also encouraged me to try new things as well. for example, i have plans to start a zine that will have it's own section on here (once i figure out how to do different pages!)
